Go Poitier! Go!
I came across this clip today from the movie "To Sir, with Love" from 1967 starring Sidney Poitier. Something about the spirit of the characters faces, the dancing, and the live band makes this clip just jump out to me. The film itself is one of the first "idealistic teacher is confronted with a class of cynical teenagers" genre movies, but with 60's issues! hoho. Anyways, here's the clip which I think is way groovy. It features the group, The Mindbenders.

Glad to hear from you. I've missed reading your material. However, I've found, as you probably have yourself, that being in a new place and situation calls for some private reflections and in some cases a halt in blogging.
I myself have been dormant for 2.4 months. However, you inspired me to jump back in...and enjoy the ride. So here it goes. Thanks so much for the "apologies" and such. Soo inspiring.
